DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND SALES
FUNCTION
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will assume overall responsibility for the marketing, sales and applications engineering operations for this Company focusing on growth through acquisition. Four acquisitions have been completed since 2019. The Company performs R&D, design, manufacturing, and marketing of radio frequency (RF) and Microwave (MW) processing and communications equipment for both military and commercial customers.
The Company is building a diverse technology and capability base in the RF/MW space through identifying and integrating acquisitions that are complimentary to its current offerings in component, subsystem and system level design and fabrication. The Company has a strong bench of technical talent, a broad product offering and operations primarily in the domestic market.
You will have responsibility for maintaining and developing all sales channels as well as coordinating and overseeing all quoting and trade show participation. You will also have considerable interface with engineering in the specification, design, and implementation of the firm's present and future products.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent, is necessary. A Master's Degree in Business Administration is highly preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant sales and marketing experience in the RF/MW space for both custom engineered and standard products. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing and/or sales executive with considerable expertise in marketing to government customers. You will have a demonstrated ability to work with technical professionals in specifying and producing applications-oriented products as well as in coordinating these professionals to address specific customer applications. You will have been involved in the growth of a smaller company or in the building of an entrepreneurial group within a larger organization.
A shirt-sleeve manager and team player, this individual will possess superior organizational and leadership skills and a demonstrable record of achievement in growing and managing sales operations.
Superior oral and written communication skills are essential, particularly since this individual is expected to play the lead role in business development, joint ventures, licensing, and other marketing activities critical to the Company's short-term growth.
COMPENSATION
The Company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, incentive bonus and equity participation.
