Project Controls Manager

The NYC Project Controls Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive reporting and tracking tools for management of all Northeast projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining constant oversight of capital projects, monitoring project performance, and reporting on variances.
- Create innovative solutions to assist project management/delivery teams in understanding their Project's health, enabling them to make informed decisions.
- Provide comprehensive program/project reporting including budget, cost planning, schedule, contract compliance, and other metrics as required on a project-specific basis.
- Review, assess, and develop comprehensive reports on data from a variety of sources/systems.
- Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess the potential impact of risks on project cost, schedule, and quality.
- Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement risk mitigation measures.
- Prepare risk reports and updates for project stakeholders
- Monitor subcontractor spending/funding to ensure it is aligned with work authorizations and expenditures.
- Oversees the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules.
- Develop contractually required monthly reports for clients.
- Develop project presentations, as required.
- Continuously explore best practices and new innovative ways to support advancement of project controls and reporting.
- Support leadership with various daily task execution, as required.
Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in project and program management, execution, and implementation.
- Experience with Design-Build projects.
- Experience with complex, multi-million-dollar projects is a plus.
- Excellent quantitative, analytic, and deductive reasoning capabilities
- City, State, or Federal experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
- SharePoint administration and file management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
