Certified Nursing Assistant w/ $750.00 Sign-on Bonus

A Solheim Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) contributes to the success of Solheim by effectively providing the highest quality nursing care and resident satisfaction under the direction of the Charge Nurse and the Director of Nursing, in accordance with Federal, State, and local guidelines.

On a typical day, a CNA at Solheim will:

• Provide direct care to residents to improve or maintain the resident’s abilities and in a manner that protects and promotes resident rights, dignity, self-determination, and active participation.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding of assigned residents by providing set-up assistance, verbal prompts, physical support or more extensive assistance, or who are totally dependent.
• Assist in Restorative Care to ensure residents maintain functioning at his/her highest independent level to prevent decrease in functioning unless clinically unavoidable through ambulation, range of motion exercises, use of assistive devices and maintaining proper body alignment to prevent contractures and deformities.
• Obtains and records resident’s vital signs, intake/output and weights as ordered and directed by Licensed Staff. Collects specimens as instructed. Reports any observation or resident complaint of pain to the Licensed Nurse immediately.

Desired Qualifications / Requirements:_

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Current/Active California CNA Certificate (required)
• BLS / CPR Card (required)
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s care (preferred)

Staff Needed:

Fulltime 3:00pm- 11:00pm, 11:00pm- 7:00am shifts

Part Time 7:00am- 3:00pm shift

On-call- All shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Per diem

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
