Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory, a Marianist, Catholic school in Hollywood, Florida seeks a qualified high school English teacher for the 2024-2025 school year to join our CMCP family! We are seeking a talented and motivated educator wishing to share his or her knowledge with our high school students. The teaching load is 6 courses (level would be determined at time of hire) We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with Canvas (learning management system)
- Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
- Adhere to established teaching curriculum
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience (preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to build positive rapport with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
This vibrant high school serves students in grades 9 - 12 and numbers approximately 600 students. It is co-educational and a tight-knit community.
