Job Description
Maintenance of Buildings and Grounds
- Minor repairs as needed (examples include unplugging clogged toilets or drains, repairing leaky faucets, minor electrical repairs)
- Interior and small exterior painting projects as needed
- Entryways and Walkways-making sure they are clear of snow or debris when the accumulation is too little for the professional snow removal service. Clearing away other debris from walkways and entries such as leaves, fallen limbs, trash.
- Daily check of building for anything amiss, trash removal, mouse traps, evidence of pests
- Setting up rooms for Christ Church groups.
Miscellaneous
- Cleaning of lower gutters
- Changing of HVAC filters (2X /year between maintenance calls
- Washing lower level interior window exterior windows.
- Cleaning window wells
- Power washing walks and patio (2x/year)
Qualifications
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Must be able to follow both written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to identify and address any issues in the building or on the grounds as they arise.
- Must be self-directed and able to complete all custodial duties with little to no supervision.
