Job Description

Overview

Looking for a highly motivated self-starter to increase sales by calling on Architects, Designers, Developers, Contractors and Distributors. This exciting role includes design collaboration, sales, influencing product specifications, strong technical ability, conducting educational and product presentations and travel throughout the US. You will become an expert on our products and this expertise will be utilized while promoting Fry Reglet at tradeshows, in product presentations and Architectural/ Design events interacting with attendees and ensuring properly displayed materials. Relationship selling in the design community requires above average presentation skills and great follow-through.

Experience and Skills

· Identify and proactively engage with architects, developers, and other industry professionals to generate new business opportunities and provide specification support.

· Utilize provided resources to identify qualified upcoming opportunities to guide specification support.

· Understand the technical aspects of our product lines to effectively communicate with our customers and address their questions regarding product.

· Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions to showcase the features and benefits of our products.

· Collaborate with architects on early and late-stage conversions.

· Collaborate with the internal team to provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, addressing their specific project requirements.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the architectural and construction industry.

· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market needs to identify new business prospects and maintain a competitive edge.

· Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and close deals to achieve sales and specification targets.

· Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

· Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns designed to add value to customers and drive sales.

· Assist Architectural and Design Professional customers with design and product selections to complete their projects.

· Maintain sample libraries at design and architecture firms.

· Communicate all necessary information with Project Services for follow-up.

· Make jobsite visits for project coordination with Construction team in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers.

· Attend tradeshows and AD chapter meetings as a Fry Reglet representative.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or experience working in a specification/sales position in the building materials channel.
  • Additional certifications, like CSI CDT (Construction Document Technologist), CSI CCPR (Certified Construction Product Representative) and others.

Experience

  • Combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
  • Prior experience with Dodge software or equivalent a plus
  • Experience in Inside Sales/Customer Service/Outside Sales environment a plus.
