Online Tutor (Part-Time, Remote in Florida)

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced and passionate tutors to join our team as independent contractors. As an online tutor, you will have the opportunity to work from home and help students succeed in their academic endeavors, by conducting both one-on-one and group tutoring sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one and group online tutoring sessions with students in accordance with their learning needs and goals.
• Teach Online Math BootCamp sessions.
• Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning style, as well as to the dynamics of group sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate students and facilitate their academic growth.
• Foster a collaborative learning environment during group sessions, encouraging student interaction and participation.
• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians to ensure a positive learning experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in K12 education.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a STEAM field is an asset.
• Proficient in using online tutoring platforms and educational technology.
• Strong knowledge of the K12 curriculum and educational standards.
• Reliable internet connection and equipment necessary for online tutoring sessions.
• Ability to pass a background check.
