Clinica Las Americas is a well-established family practice and urgent care clinic (Memorial City area) seeking to fill a part-time position with an experienced Medical Assistant who is organized, committed and a reliable team player. Duties include front office skills greeting patients, answering phones, checking patients in/out, verifying insurance, and other front office responsibilities. Medical Assistant must be willing to cross-train to work back office taking patient history and vitals, EKGs, in house lab testing and phlebotomy, well-child exams, assist providers with examinations, and administer medication/ immunizations and other duties as assigned. Medical Assistant MUST be bilingual (Spanish). EMR experience is a plus.
