Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Business Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 Project Operations, and providing functional expertise to support project implementation and ongoing operations. This role will focus specifically on the Customer Engagement (CE) application within Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to understand project needs and objectives.
2. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and technical teams, to define and document functional requirements.
3. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configure/customize Dynamics 365 Project Operations to meet business needs.
4. Design, develop, and implement solutions within Dynamics 365 CE application, including but not limited to, entities, forms, views, workflows, and reports.
5. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
6. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Dynamics 365 CE application, including troubleshooting issues, monitoring system performance, and implementing enhancements.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Dynamics 365 Project Operations with other business systems and applications as needed.
8. Stay updated on the latest features, functionalities, and best practices within Dynamics 365 CE and Project Operations to ensure the system is optimized and aligned with business goals.
9. Assist in testing activities, including test case development, execution, and validation, to ensure quality and reliability of system changes and enhancements.
10. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE application, specifically Project Operations.
3. Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 CE application, including entities, forms, views, workflows, and reports.
4. Strong understanding of project management concepts and methodologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
9. Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 CE or Project Operations are preferred.
10. Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps) is desirable.
