Special Education Paraprofessional - $17+/hr

Our Clients are seeking motivated and experienced Paraprofessionals to provide classroom support for schools in the Wallingford, CT and surrounding areas.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Work with students who demonstrate behavioral challenges
* Assist teacher in the classroom as needed
* Track student progress throughout the day, sometimes with the use of charts or graphics
* Empower students with strategies that enhance their strengths
* Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must be comfortable with children who demonstrate behavioral challenges
* High School diploma required, Associate Degree, 60 credit or ParaPro a plus
* Must pass Fingerprint background check and clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, Act 16-67, and Criminal
