Preschool Director

A reputed Preschool located in Huntersville, NC is looking for an experienced Preschool Director. We are looking for patient, creative and enthusiastic Administrator who is highly passionate about making difference in young lives. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and minimum three years of management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. A candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children.

The Director responsibilities include:

• Overseeing preschool operations including human resources, quality assurance, and facility operations
• Developing strong relationships with our families and teachers
• Managing a budget
• Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
• Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Having genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Qualifications:

• BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field
• Three Years of Prior Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
