About the role

Arthur is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in optimizing Arthur's platform and developer pipelines. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering teams to ensure that our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and always accessible.

What you'll do

Design, build, support and maintain the infrastructure on which our application is deployed, in primarily Cloud, but with some on-prem environments.
Guide, mentor and support Platform Engineering teams in designing, integrating and operating stateful architecture and components (eg: RDBMS, Queues, Cache layers, etc.)
Automate and optimize developer pipelines to make them as frictionless as possible, sharing the responsibility of delivering capabilities rapidly with our product engineering team
Exhibit an automation-first mindset, an ability to analyze algorithms, and a dedication to evidence-based decision making

Requirements

What we're looking for

5+ years experience in site reliability engineering, devops, and system administration
Experience working with DevOps tools for CICD (github, gitlab, etc.), container orchestration (k8s, ECS. etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code (terraform, ansible, chef, etc.)
Competency in at least one development language, such as Python
Experience deploying and managing products in cloud environments (we use AWS)
Familiarity with operating REST-based web-applications, and hands-on experience with deploying and operating networking infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, L4/L7 load-balancing)
Expertise in Linux and Cloud Platform administration
Computer Science or other technical degree, or equivalent practical experience

You might also have (nice to have)

1+ years experience as a technical lead and/or people manager
Experience with on-prem and/or airgapped deployment architectures
Experience with system administration of a Cloud-native enterprise strategy, including security and operations

Our target base salary range for this role is $170,000 - 210,000+, based on your experience and how your skills align with role requirements
