Job Title: X-ray Technologist with dual Medical Assistant duties

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our healthcare team as a X-ray Technologist with Medical Assistant duties. In this dual role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist healthcare professionals in patient examinations and treatments.

2. Perform administrative tasks, including patient scheduling, record-keeping, and insurance documentation.

3. Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.

4. Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.

5. Conduct X-ray imaging procedures with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.

6. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to interpret and analyze X-ray results.

7. Educate patients about X-ray procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

8. Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, ensuring it meets safety standards and undergoes regular maintenance.

9. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with healthcare regulations.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, medical advancements, and best practices related to medical assisting and X-ray technology.

Requirements:

1. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

2. Certification as a Medical Assistant and X-ray Technologist.

3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Proficiency in medical software and record-keeping systems.

6. Knowledge of radiation safety and X-ray imaging techniques.

7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

8. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
