Responsibilities

•Generate new business
•Take applications: to pre-qualify or pre-approve new clients
•Register and Disclose: Upon ratification of purchase contracts, register the loan with our wholesale lenders and issue the initial disclosures
•Oversight: Our processing team takes over to take the loans to the finish line. You keep an oversight to ensure things are on track
•Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
•Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements
•Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
•Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters
•Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements

Qualifications

•You must have a Loan Originator license in at least "ONE" of these states: DC, VA or MD
•Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry
•Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field
•Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
•Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
•Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred
