Job Type: Full-time

Comp: $16.50/hr. -$17.00/hr.

Shift: 1st Shift, M-F (5am-1:30pm), OT available as needed.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Sturtevant, WI. You will be responsible for sequencing parts, picking orders by list, replenishing pick locations, preparing orders for shipping, and loading and unloading. You will ensure that all products are stored and shipped accurately and efficiently while following company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous working experience with inventory in a warehouse/manufacturing setting (preferred).

Responsibilities:

Pull parts in order, scan and label as required, and stage in specific slot order in sequencing racks.
Locate and verify the items in inventory.
Perform all required documentation.
Assist with physical counts of inventory as required
Identify differences in similar part codes and small variances in automotive parts
Notify supervision of shortages
Comply with all company safety and operational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience
Ability to be certified to operate all the equipment used in the warehouse.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Attention to detail and efficient basic computer skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and work ethic
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to work for extended periods of time standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting
Willingness to be cross trained on different jobs or production lines handling different automotive parts.
Willingness to work overtime if needed
Valid driver’s license or state issued photo ID
Willingness to give to and able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
