Janitor/ Warehouse hand-Pleasant Prairie

On Site Training in our fast paced warehouse setting.

We are seeking a Custodian/Janitor who can flex into warehouse role to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Keep all areas of building indoor and outdoor clean and orderly condition
• Organize custodial closets and spaces
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
• Maintain common and cleaning supplies
• Cleaning of boat parts
• Regularly dust, mop, sweep, vacuum
• Cleaning restrooms (Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, floors)
• Restocking paper and soap supplies
• Trash removal throughout building
• Undertake occasional tasks; shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc.
• Clean mirrors and windows
• Help warehouse cleaning product
• Picking orders from tickets
• Inspect and clean parts
• Package orders for shipment
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Counting warehouse inventory

• Fluently read and write English
• Complete tasks and special projects in a timely manner
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures and adapt accordingly
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools

Physical Demands:

Ability to walk, climb, stoop, bend, and use hands
Lift 70 lbs individually and up to 120 lbs with help
Stand and walk for extended amounts of time

Helpful Skills:

Forklift experience a plus
Basic maintenance knowledge
Basic computer skills
