Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, inspect, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems, including but not limited to heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of HVAC/R systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC/R systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

Troubleshooting:

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of HVAC/R systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to determine the layout and configuration of HVAC/R systems.

Customer Service:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their HVAC/R needs and provide solutions.
• Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of HVAC/R systems to optimize performance and longevity.

Compliance:

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment specifications, and parts used.
• Provide detailed reports to clients and management on the status of HVAC/R systems and recommended repairs or upgrades.

Education and Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized HVAC training program.
• TDLR HVAC Tech Registration – Required
• EPA Certification – Required

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
• Familiarity with a variety of HVAC/R systems and equipment.

Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.

License:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
