Reports to: Director of Community Living
Supervises: LIFE Counselors (DSPs)
Full Time: Including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
About the Role
Are you ready to lead and make a difference? We're seeing a proactive Community Habilitation Manager to provide strategic direction and implement our Community Habilitation program. This role offers the opportunity to shape programs, support individuals with disabilities, and contribute to their growth and independence.
Responsibilities include:
- Full cycle recruiting and supervision for program staff
- Ensuring fiscal and programmatic viability for program including internal audits
- Attending Life Plan meetings and writing Staff Action Plans
- Coordinating program intakes
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or management-related field preferred, along with 3 years' experience working with people with disabilities. Experience in OPWDD and Medicaid Regulations, measuring project outcomes, and relevant regulations is advantageous.
Conditions of Employment
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
We're looking for someone with outstanding communication, project management, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential, along with the ability to develop constructive relationships and adapt to changing work demands.
