Job Summary
Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute projects designed to transform internal technology programs into customer-centric, responsive, and agile centers of excellence and responsiveness
- Assist clients in identifying the need for new tools and managing selection of a new systems, including analyzing options, interviewing vendors, and reviewing statements of work
- Supports scrum product owners and/or performs the product ownership role on a scrum team
- Support organizational change management efforts aimed at increasing user adoption
- Engage clients, evolving their Agile delivery, taking part in their continuous improvement process, and helping them build a culture of transparency and inspection and adaptation
- Build business architectures that convey “As-Is” and “To-Be” states for product and/or organization
- Aggregate ideas, design and prioritized features to meet business needs
- Plan and execute product development, solve production issues, and monitor outcomes
- Coach client product managers to become the “product CEO” of their domain by creating KPI’s, hypothesizing and designing improvements, and measuring change effectively through validated learning and continuous improvement processes
- Facilitate requirements interviews and workshops with key business and technical stakeholders to identify a roadmap of product features and generate a prioritized product backlog of epics and user stories
- Build and maintain a feature-oriented roadmap that is backed by ongoing release-oriented capacity and demand planning
- Ensure feasible outcomes within reasonable timelines. Must be able to plan the team and projects by continuously balancing resources or tasks based on shifting business demands
- Work with and on cross-functional teams that may include product owners, UX designers, business process engineers, scrum masters, architects, engineers, and data leads
- Ensure stakeholders are continuously informed of product strategy and roadmap
- Ensure ongoing traceability from strategic goals to capabilities to technical components to validated business results
- Develop highly usable customer experiences, UI’s, and/or internal business processes, and support a culture and process for validated learning with user behavior metrics.
Our client engagements may not require all of these responsibilities concurrently. We highly value candidates with the experience to perform any or all of them, and who possess the drive to dive in wherever needed to achieve successful product outcomes on behalf of our clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Eight years work experience required
- Three years of experience working with stakeholders is required
- Certifications are appreciated; real-life practice is emphasized
- You must have strong verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal intelligence, and have fostered an environment where products succeed, and organizations evolve
- We have and expect a genuine passion for helping clients identify and realize their business needs
