Seeking Full Time Behavioral Health Therapist reporting to the Supervisor of Clinical Services. The Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for the provision of care to meet the behavioral health needs of all clients. The scope of services may include, but not limited to, counseling / psychotherapy, diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment planning and limited case management. The Outpatient Therapist will be responsible for care coordination, aftercare planning and safety planning to ensure a comprehensive model of care is available to all clients served. Utilizing a team focused treatment plan approach, services can be provided in variety of settings such as the office, the client’s home and / or via teletherapy.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field
- Valid LISW, or LPCC License in the state of Ohio required.
- Experience collaborating with other team members to optimize outcomes clients.
- Familiarity of state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Awareness of community and state support resources for population served.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices and evidenced based treatment modalities.
- Possess a working knowledge of resiliency and recovery in mental illness and substance abuse.
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED:
- Conduct individual, group, or family therapy for both adults and children.
- Conduct timely Diagnostic Evaluations with clients.
- Responsible for and completes all productivity/documentation requirements.
- Actively engage in supervision with your Clinical Supervisor.
- Assist clients in preparing and presenting treatment program work material.
- Involve client / family in appropriate and comprehensive treatment planning.
- Complete all clinical documentation in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
- Participate in and complete peer review as assigned and directed.
- Maintain client charting in accordance with Medicaid, JCAHO, ODADAS, ODMH, CARF and professional standards.
- Prepare all documentation for discharge and aftercare referral.
- Assist in community outreach.
- Acts to understand and safeguard the welfare of others.
- Actively consults with supervisor to act upon ethical and legal aspects of the organization.
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain all aspects of HIPAA, promoting patient confidentiality and right to privacy.
- May be required to perform telehealth services as determined by Generations Behavioral Health.
- Adherence and completion of compliance training provided by Generations Behavioral Health.
- Participate in all assigned staff meetings and staff development programs.
- Demonstrate appropriate attendance and punctuality in adherence with Generations Behavioral Health policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
