Supervising Engineer (Bilingual: English and Chinese)

Overview:
JY techs was established in 2009. Its main customers are international semiconductor factories located in Taiwan Science Park. Currently, JY techs is developing new business in Phoenix and is a qualified supplier of TSMC az. JY Techs is committed to providing professional engineering services to semiconductor factories.

JY Techs provides the sales of precision ancillary equipment for the semiconductor industry, equipment parts manufacturing and repairs, chemical filter re-generation and the provision of engineering services for the clean room integration.

As a Supervising Engineer at JY techs, you will lead labors to work with our customers as a supervising level focused on equipment parts repaired, maintained and engineering support for clean room. This role will require 30-70% time work in a clean room environment (depending on engineering schedule) and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities:
- Define and ensure the tasks under the project scope (in terms of safety, schedule control, site management, quality control, sub-contractor management, logistics arrangement and on-site co-ordination) Organized and communicate each task to the relevant sub-contract teams includes JY Techs on-site team and the respective management team.

- Responsible for overall on-site job organization, serving as liaison and coordinator for all parties involved in construction site activities. Manages the daily construction activities.

- Participate in the conception of construction plans, schedule construction progress, and direct and supervise various project-related matters.

- Direct construction-related activities and control the execution progress and construction quality of the project.

- As a contact window for on-site project management and report schedule and progress to manager.

- To be involved with the project decision making process, to be client facing when required and to create a good working relationship with the Client’s onsite personnel and the Client’s representatives.

- Work closely with the team and offer advice and practical solutions on buildability and suitability of existing design solutions.

- Confirm that each contractor's work is performed in accordance with the requirements of the contract, drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations. Organizes and verifies that all tests, trial runs, inspections, etc. are conducted in the presence of appropriate personnel and documented.

- Rotate to TSMC AZ clean room for engineering construction and on-site operations.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preference for engineering or science background including occupational Safety, chemical engineering or chemistry, mechanical engineering, environmental science and emergency response/management.

- Ability to manage in-house and subcontracted engineering services.

- Strong hands-on skills. Ability to work with hand tools.

- Provides guidance to engineers (on-site skilled labors) during the hand-on work based on customer requirements and needs.

- Working closely with engineers (or on-site skilled labors) providing real time feedback of issues and recommends solutions.

- Reporting and instant feedback of facing issues for operating procedure in the field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company - Technicians to Management.

- Excellent organization and time-management. Ability to multi-task and set priorities without jeopardizing project schedule.

- Customer focused and concentrate on tasks.

- Identify and resolve conflict.

- Assess safety and risk.

- Bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English are preferred.

- Must be comfortable with a rapidly changing work environment.

Role within the Factory:

- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of working.

- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Can we be more specific: Must be willing to lift up to 20 pounds and spend the majority of time on the floor or ladder working on engineering in the factory.
