Customer Service Representative

DAC Engineered Products is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.  Customer Service Representative presents a positive image of DAC-EP while representing and communicating with the customers. Enters and maintains customer requirements. Contact with customers, address/resolve issues or inquiries while keeping customer informed of order status.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for internal administration of sales orders, quotes, status inquiries, and follow-up approvals.
  • Coordination with planning for revenue attainment and customer satisfaction.
  • Interact with customers and Outside Sales, providing them with information about the company's products or services, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Extract or collect purchase order/contract from customer portal or email.
  • Contract Review: Initial purchase order/contract review confirming delivery requested is consistent with lead times quoted and current capacity, pricing is correct and insuring DAC-EP is in compliance with flow down requirements and identifies new requirements that need to be addressed.
  • Convert purchase order/contract request into an internal production lot reflective of the requirements requested in purchase order.
  • Works with Estimator to make sure capacity available to meet customer requirements.
  • Reviews/analyzes customer forecast/demand to aid in managing capacity and scheduling a successful plan to achieve customer requirements.
  • Manages / Schedules Shipments: Monitors production and schedules shipments / routing according to customer demands, customer location, and business situation, aligning/directing shipment departures.
  • Prepares documentation for export shipments assuring compliance with US Export laws.
  • Coordinate new product introductions with the sales team.
  • Enters / Maintains Part and Customer Information: Accurately and timely enters and maintains part, routing, and customer information in ERP system.
  • Help answering phones, and other receptionist duties as necessary.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in education workshops, reviewing professional publications, and implementing cost effective and profitable ways to increase throughput.
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
