Dialectic, Inc is a full-service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design and consulting firm with Headquarters located in the Crossroads of Kansas City, Missouri. Dialectic has a reputation for delivering inventive, flexible, and sustainable MEP designs for clients across the US.

The Electrical Engineer/Designer will collaborate will with staff to create accurate technical drawings and contribute to the overall design process for our MEP Engineering firm which focuses on the design of systems for business, retail, housing, education, and entertainment industries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Performs calculations and designs basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff

· Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics

· Reviews reports, plans and designs for projects

· Attend client meetings with project managers and senior staff, continuing to grow relationships with staff and clients

· Occasional travel as required, typically under the supervision of senior staff for site surveys and field inspections

· Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to improve technical knowledge

· Grows knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office products

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural engineering preferred, or 3 years of experience without the degree

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Demonstrates moderate office computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

· Basic understanding of local codes and amendments, with the ability to interpret and apply the codes system designs and calculations

· Basic familiarity with building structures, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they interact

· Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and BlueBeam Revu
