Job Description

Line Cook

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Line Cook for a hospital based in Mobile, AL. In this role, you will perform all functions in relationship to preparing all foods for meal service for patients and cafeteria including line cook, prep cook, and service.

Pay Rate
$14.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Day shift: 6:00am-7:00pm shift availability

Must be available to work every other weekend

Line Cook Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensures that the cook’s unit is set up for preparing current days entrees and hot items.
• Ensures that the quality of all food items produced is preserved, consistently following the standardized recipes and diagrams.
• Ensures food items are prepared in sufficient quantity to cover service requirements.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area, ensuring cleaning matrix is observed.

Line Cook Qualifications and Requirements
• Food preparation experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to solve problems independently.
• Must have knowledge of cooking methods and procedures, safe food handling techniques and all kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to follow directions of written recipes.

• Drug screen and background check required
