WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Must have experience leading teams of AV Technicians in a construction site environment
• Lead and delegate tasks to install team, subcontractors, and union trades
• Experience providing daily reporting to the Project Management team
• Experience installing a wide variety of technology into clients existing and new build project sites
• Knowledge of all cabling used in the AV industry and experience terminating associated connectors
• Knowledge of how to build AV racks to required AVIXA standards ensuring required airflow and layouts. Cable Management experience is a key requirement
• Planning layout and install of all 1st fix hardware to include bracketry, ceiling speaker hardware, ensuring required general contract requirements are in place
• Experience terminating, configuring and basic programming of at least one of the following types of equipment: Extron, Cisco, Crestron and/or AMX
• Knowledge of various drawings used in construction and ability to read and build to these drawings
• Must have similar experience working on AV/ VC integrations projects

• Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure. The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination
• Must be engaged in the process of technical development
• Be eligible, willing and able to work and travel globally when required
• Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer
• Be a motivated team player

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the AV/VC industry
• AVIXA CTS/CTS-I Certification is desired
• OSHA 10/30/SST Certificate is highly desired
