Part-Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist with financial audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working in a similar part-time capacity is a plus.
