True Value Company, one of the world's largest hardlines wholesalers with more than 4,400 independent retailers in over 60 countries, is looking for Inventory Control for our 1st Shift Denver, Colorado location

Inventory Control Experience Required

Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday
Scheduled Hours: 1st 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $21.00

Position Description:
Our Merchandise Handlers performs the following tasks safely with the customer in mind:
  • Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, initiating reorder processes as necessary to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records, including damaged or missing items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to optimize inventory procedures and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all inventory activities, adjustments, and movements.
  • Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Utilize inventory management software to update stock information, generate reports, and provide insights on inventory status.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of an efficient warehouse layout that accommodates inventory levels and turnover.
Position Qualifications:
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience, minimum 18 years old
• Basic Reading and Math Skills
• 1-3 Years of experience, preferably in distribution, manufacturing, warehouse or similar industry
• Basic Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of industry specific applications (EX, ADS)

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work all overtime hours
• Must be able to stand and walk 8 or more hours per day (Average 5-10 miles per day)
• Bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, kneeling and lifting are continuous essential functions of the job
• Will lift from 1-75 pounds from floor to five feet level continuously and team lift heavier items
• Normal physical agility is a must
