Fabricator/Welder IV

Competitive pay ranging from $24-$29 an hour

Temporary opportunity

The position is in Houston, TX 77091

Day shift 5:00 am-3:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Work with one of the world’s most advanced drilling solutions providers in supporting production goals and maintaining high company standards when you become a Welder.

As a Welder IV you will be actively involved in improving welding productivity, welding quality, and safety. As a Welder, you will calculate and lay out the takeoff on fittings and pipe to match engineering drawings using various weld processes.

Your New Role:

The right candidate should possess expertise in utilizing precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales, and understand their applications. Additionally, you should demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and comprehending the associated requirements. Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing setting is advantageous, and you must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with the Automatic GTAW-P process and fabrication weld. Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral, relevant to your job responsibilities are essential.

What You Need:

High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to: calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand the requirements.
Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment a plus.
Minimum 5- years experience with the Automatic GTAW-P process and Fabrication weld
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
