Intake Specialist- 2nd Shift

Individuals applying for this position will be conducting bodily searches as well as property searches of new intakes as they come into an Isaiah House facility. Intake Specialists will also conduct searches of the grounds and facilities as outlined by the Success Coach and Site Supervisor. They will maintain security by preventing disturbances and by inspecting facilities.

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

• Observe behavior of client to prevent disturbances
• Maintains order, discipline, and security within assigned areas in accordance with Isaiah House policies
• Inspects, inventories, and maintains physical control of logs, keys, tools, and related equipment
• Search property and body of the client
• Log all possessions
• Take and post pictures of the property on designated feeds as needed
• Search facilities and property as assigned
• Communicate with supervisor daily
• Follow all safety rules and policies of Isaiah House
• Maintain empathy and understanding of the client and their situation

The following shifts are available:

• Monday-Thursday 11am- 9:30pm

**$.50 shift differential for 2nd shift

Requirements

• Working knowledge of drug & alcohol recovery preferred
• One year of sobriety preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Negotiating and conflict resolution skills preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
