Multi-Family Property Assistant
SUMMARY: To work as part of a team and assist the property manager and aid in the leasing procedures, community relations, and property operations to ensure highest standards of resident safety and satisfaction, within the allotted budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Perform property and unit tours with the objective of leasing the available unit to the prospective tenant.
- Keep track of inventory, order supplies, track shipments and deliveries.
- Works closely with other departments and vendors (i.e., Property Manager, Construction Vendors, Maintenance Contracts, Corporate Office, Leasing, etc.) to ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction.
-Responsible for all tenant unit cleanings. Will assist as the back-up to unit turnover cleaning when the cleaning company is not able to make the turnaround; Responsible to move staging to another unit, tidy common areas, etc. Responsible for washing and keeping staging items and turnover items cleaned and organized.
- Prepare units for move-ins including preparation of all tenant move-in materials, utilizing unit move-in checklist. Assist property manager with tenant move-out inspections and notify property manager of any damages and issues found at time of move-out.
- Responsible for resident concierge services, such as delivering packages to units and assisting residents in package location, if necessary, etc.
-Daily walk through of the interior common areas and reporting all issues/concerns to property manager in a timely manner, responsible for stocking coffee bar, and cleaning and upkeep of tenant common areas.
- Identify and notify management concerning maintenance.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems.
- Assists in handling lockouts and other tenant problems or concerns.
- Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with other employees and with residents.
- Comfortable to use multi-family operating systems, to process tenant requests, etc.
- Attends meetings with Corporate/ Leasing/ Property Manager and/or department heads, conducts and/or participates in safety meetings at designated intervals with staff.
- Watches for suspicious activity; may patrol public rooms, investigate disturbances, and warn troublemakers; reports any problems to local law enforcement, corporate office, or Property Manager, as applicable.
- As required of all AAM15 employees, assist any customer or potential customer in a prompt, courteous, friendly, and helpful manner at all times.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
May supervise one or more of the following positions: Cleaners and Maintenance Worker, vendors.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Requires one to three plus years of occupationally significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, on-the-job training, and essential experience in multi-family maintenance skill level and management positions.
