Schedule: Mon - Fri; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Repair transformers and other power distribution equipment with a special emphasis on welding.
Breakdown and repair pole type transformers.
Learn and work different positions on the assembly line.
Perform quality check on repaired unit before it leaves workstation.
Estimate repair costs of single-phase padmount transformers.
Operate forklift, overhead crane and other material handling equipment as needed.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will embody the following characteristics and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:

Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
Hardworking.
Physical ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 20lbs force frequently.
Comfortable working in extreme heat and cold.
Experience in polemount transformer repair required.
