Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Duration: 7 months (Possible extension)

Location: Chicago, IL 60642 (Remote)

Summary:

Responsible for the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities aimed at creating net value, establishing a competitive infrastructure, optimizing worldwide logistics, aligning supply with demand, and measuring global performance.

Responsibilities:

• Possess moderate to extensive knowledge and experience within the discipline.
• Undertake primarily straightforward assignments upon entry at this level, progressing towards assuming full accountability for processes or business objectives.
• Continuously enhance understanding of the company, processes, and customers by leading projects or project segments within larger initiatives.
• Resolve problems using existing solutions, with the capacity to tackle complex issues from a fresh perspective.
• Receive moderate guidance and direction.
• May serve as a Line Manager for Business Operations and Technical roles, overseeing up to 3 individuals.

Requirements:

• Supply Chain Expertise: Knowledge of distribution processes starting from material or component suppliers, extending through manufacturing, distribution, and retail to end consumers. Responsible for coordinating major physical distribution and materials management activities, including distribution, transportation, production planning, and inventory control. Sets and implements strategic supply direction to achieve long-term operational and profit goals. May oversee plant or multi-site operations, ensuring quality, cost, volume, and service targets are met. Accountable for delivering financial results related to supply activities.

• Logistics Operations: Manage or perform tasks related to Logistics Planning & Optimization, Warehouse & Distribution Center Operations (including shipping, receiving, materials handling), and Transportation & Fleet Operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of supply chain experience, preferably in Logistics (Warehousing, Transportation) or Order Fulfillment (Order Management). Baseline experience in any supply chain functional area (Procurement, Production/Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Product Design, etc.) is desirable.
