Job Description

  1. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.

  1. Responsible for fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.

  1. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.

  1. Supports and trains EVS Attendants in various tasks, ensuring the results meet and/or exceed company expectations.

  1. Works with Facilities Manager to create task and checklists.

  1. Holds department pre-shift briefings and delegate job assignments as per guidance of the Facilities Manager.

  1. Ensures operation is OSHA and Hazcom compliant; including maintenance of the departmental MSD Sheets.

  1. Ensure all equipment and chemicals are safely labeled, stored, and Team Members are fully educated on use/hazards.

  1. Works with the EVS Shift Manager to build inventory pars. Reviews equipment and supply inventories and reports inventory par variances.

  1. Receives equipment and supplies and coordinates distribution and storage of such in an organized fashion.

  1. Ensures that all storage areas are labeled and maintained in good order.

  1. Monitors equipment condition and ensures that is it properly maintained.

  1. Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.

  1. Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.

  1. Other duties as assigned.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

Position Qualifications: High school diploma or GED certificate. Six months to one year of work experience. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Working knowledge of Excel and Word required. Previous customer service experience required. Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas. Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License
