Security Officer - 1057

As a Security Officer, you will monitor the security of employees, customers, visitors and Company property.

Description of Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance systems, physical environment and all entrances to and departures from Company property.

• Participate in the investigation of disturbances or other security related issues.

• Enforce building security and visitor policies and procedures in a professional manner.

• Provide assistance to employees, customers and visitors.

• Engage additional emergency personnel as necessary.

• Act as the Assistant Fire Marshal in the case of building evacuation.

• Ensure security of doors, windows and security gates.

• Document daily activities and irregularities.

Required skills & experience:

• 2 years of related experience required.

• Multiple years of security and/or law enforcement experience required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentials from the American Heart Association preferred.

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite.

• Working knowledge of security surveillance systems, telephone switchboard and emergency communication systems.

• Must be dependable.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to be flexible with work schedule.

Education Required: High School Diploma

Pay Range: $18.16 to $20.07 hourly

The starting pay rate for this role is based on a variety of relevant factors, including location, education, experience, and skills.
