Production Supervisor

Pallidus, Inc., is a fast-growing producer of large diameter Silicon Carbide wafers for high power and high frequency semiconductor applications in Transportation, Green Energy, Telecommunication, and Industrial markets. SCOPE
The Production Supervisor will work closely with operations leadership to direct the work of process technicians to ensure quality products are produced safely and within specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Participate in recruitment and onboarding for all new process technicians.
Lead through positive influence; coach and develop team.
Provide clear and timely performance feedback to all employees.
Ensure proper cross training within and across departments to limit disruptions due to natural attrition and unexcused absences.
Identify and resolve employee issues through the use of data analysis, investigations, solution identification, and action planning.
Proactively coordinate with the Maintenance team to conduct preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with the engineering team to communicate issues or process improvement opportunities.
Support and/or lead process improvement projects in collaboration with engineering and technology departments.
Works with production control to schedule weekly and monthly demand.
Sets daily priorities for production technicians, monitors progress, communicates and resolves issues.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for our MES/Oracle systems and ensures completion of all necessary transactions with the production team.

REQUIREMENTS

Associate’s degree and 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment OR 5 years of leadership experience
Semiconductor or other manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy general knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs.
Optimistic in high-stress environments
Be an active team member that helps set the direction, culture, and success of Pallidus
Must be a US Citizen or be a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. to meet Export Control requirements.
