Emergency Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician / Registered – Full-time, 3rd shift. We are looking for another Registered Veterinary Technician to join our wonderful staff. Must be available 9p-7a (7 days on and 7 days off).

The typical schedule is:

OFF 7 days in a row

9p-7a 7 days in a row

This shift has generous blocks of time off (7days in a row off every other week). Candidate must be available to work these shifts.

We are a busy 24 hour AAHA accredited hospital. Candidate must possess the following:

Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work effectively with a team and independently

Critical thinking skills and be able to exercise good judgment

CVT, RVT, LVT - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program is required.

Our Registered Veterinary Technicians provide outstanding, quality patient care. They are responsible for responding quickly and calmly to the needs of our patients and clients. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly with our clients and other staff members and they must be able to anticipate the needs of our veterinarians. Candidate must be extremely reliable and licensed in the State of Ohio.
