Retirement Consultant

We are seeking a Retirement Consultant to provide training for an upcoming class! You will need to deliver personalized investment advice to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals.

Responsibilities:

The training need to focus on:

• Pre-retirement training for FERS; how to calculate your retirement annuity, federal employee benefits, creditable service, early outs, survivors benefits, disability, cola’s, Thrift Savings Plan, Social Security, FEGLI Rules, Longs Term Care, Health Insurance Rules, Medicare and Taxes.

• Mid-Career retirement training for FERS; Annuity, eligibility rules, Creditable Service, Deposits/re-deposits, military deposits, hi-3, calculating the annuity, Special Retirement Supplement, Alternative Annuity,  Voluntary Contribution and Insurances.

• New-employee retirement training for FERS;  Annuity, eligibility rules, Creditable Service, Deposits/re-deposits, military deposits, hi-3, calculating the annuity, FERS Special Retirement Supplement, Alternative Annuity,  Voluntary Contribution and Insurances.

   

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banking, financing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with investment products and services
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
