Location: Remote; United States   
Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000 (or more DOE) + Uncapped Commissions 
OTE: $120,000-$200,000+
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, ESOP, Holidays, PTO

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (sales exp. req.) Description 

Our client, an engineering and consulting company, is looking to add a Remote Business Development Manager to their team in the US. This position was created to develop sales of broadband and power engineering services with power companies. You will not be managing a team; this is a hands-on individual contributor role. You’ll network to build relationships with power companies in the NRECA to sell their engineering services. To achieve this, you’ll travel across the US to meet with key contacts. Because of the size of these sales, $100k-$1M, they’re looking for a resourceful, autonomous sales professional with experience selling to electric cooperatives. Whether you’ve sold equipment to them like utility poles or transformers, they’re looking for someone who understands the cooperative mindset and how to navigate those waters. The good news is you’ll work with a team of technical experts who will support you when closing the sale so when it gets to the complex details of the engineering solutions, you’ll pull in the technical experts. [REMOTE] Business Development Manager (sales exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Develop new business with power companies including NRECA 
•    Build and effectively manage a sales pipeline 
•    Sell broadband and power engineering services
•    Create and nurture relationships with key contacts and decision-makers 
•    Deliver engaging presentations that encapsulate the company’s value propositions 
•    Work with engineering teams to follow up on technical inquiries 
•    Travel throughout the US to capture new business opportunities 
•    Expand company visibility through participation in trade shows and other events 
•    Collaborate cross-functionally to create an effective sales strategy 
•    Develop sales regions throughout the US 

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (sales exp. req.) Qualifications  

•    2+ years of experience selling to electric cooperatives required  
•    3+ years of new business development experience required 
•    50% domestic travel required
