Description
The HR Generalist will be responsible for recruitment efforts, onboarding assistance, employee relations and enforcing company policies and practices . In addition, the HR Generalist will build strong relationships with our teams, managers and supervisors in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal responsibilities.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast paced and high performing environment with high standards.
- Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Understanding of personnel and compliance records management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- At least three years of experience working in Human Resources.
- Experience with benefits administration, preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
