Facilities Maintenance Manager

DARLING'S AUTO GROUP is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our maintenance team as a Facilities Maintenace Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform quality checks and routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems

- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs

- Coordinate repairs and renovations as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to facility

- Oversee day-to-day of maintenance staff to include assignments, flow, triage and coordination

- Respond according to immediate issues or emergencies so that any damage can be minimized

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of five years engineering, construction management or building trade experience

- Working knowledge of tools and equipment required to complete building maintenance

- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast pace, quickly changing environment

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Comfortable working with building systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical

- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- High School Graduate or equivalent

- Must have a valid driver's license

From time to time may be exposed to cold weather or changing temperatures and noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Must be able to obtain a working knowledge of the Hazardous Communication Program. Must have the ability to stand, walk and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods. May be required to operate a fork lift, scissor lift and other equipment.
