Income Tax Preparer

Title: Tax Preparer

Overview:
As a tax preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals or businesses. 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather and organize financial information and documentation from clients, including income statements, expense records, and other relevant documents.
2. Prepare and complete tax returns in a timely manner using tax preparation software (ULTRATAX CS -THOMSON REUTERS)
3. Communicate with clients to address any questions or concerns regarding their tax returns. 
4. Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
5. Collaborate with other tax professionals and team members to provide comprehensive tax services and support.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in tax preparation or accounting role preferred.
2. Understanding of tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
3. Proficiency in tax preparation software such as UltraTax, TurboTax, TaxAct, or similar programs.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
7. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) is a plus but not required.
