Job Description

ProMed Staffing Resources is seeking several Medical Receptionists with a background in Dermatology for full-time contracts at a reputable dermatology facility in Manhattan, NY. Apply today and unlock the possibilities!

Compensation: An attractive package of $22- $23 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing all essential receptionist tasks, including proficiently handling, screening, and directing phone calls.
• Leveraging Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or other systems for seamless patient check-in/check-out procedures. This involves confirming patient demographics, insurance details, securing patient signatures on relevant forms, and guiding patients through any paperwork pertinent to their visit.
• Scheduling patient appointments with diligence and reminding patients of any necessary documentation required for their visit. Also responsible for scheduling any services or procedures as needed.
• Promoting dermatological products and services as required. 

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
•  One year of experience working as a Medical Receptionist at a dermatology office
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Must have knowledge of EMR systems
• Familiar with referrals/authorizations/eligibility verification
