Property Manager Assistant

Hi everyone. We’re a small PM company in Northern Virginia (45 doors). We’re looking for a Part-Time Independent Contractor with Buildium experience for an immediate opportunity in assisting in our daily operations. Candidates must live in the Northern Virginia area.

This position has flexible hours and can be home-based, however on-site visits to properties are required. Properties are all in the greater Northern Virginia area. Hourly Compensation is $20-$35 based on experience — estimated 20-30 Hours per week workload.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling Phone Calls/Requests from Tenants and Owners, and Providing Basic Trouble Shooting Assistance,
• Overseeing Collection of Rents, Paying Expenses and Issuing Owner Draws, (95% of Rents are paid on-line),
• Assisting in the production of Monthly Reconciliations on bank accounts,
• Preparing and Distributing Reports as requested, and Year End Reports/1099s,
• Coordinating and Tracking Repairs, (not performing them), using company’s approved Vendors. Ideal candidate will be able to perform minor repairs (changing locks, easy toilet repairs, etc.) and can also be separately compensated, based on skill level,
• Performing Move-in and -Out, and Periodic Inspections,
• No Leasing or Marketing responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be located in Northern Virginia.
• Buildium Experience Required.
• Candidates will provide references and undergo Background check.
• Candidates must have reliable transportation.
• Candidates should be able to Multi-Task and Prioritize tasks
