Industrial Maintenance Tech

Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for an Automotive Manufacturing client in the Chattanooga, TN area.

Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: Full Time
Compensation: $28/hr DOE

Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain all equipment and facilities
  Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
  Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime
  Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds, and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records
  Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, process, and quality improvement actions for all facilities
  Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety Environmental requirements are met
  Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.

  Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED, Technical Certifications (Maintenance/Electrical), Technical diploma with electrical certification
• Or Five (5) years of electrical experience
  Working knowledge of Quality systems, Health, Safety and environmental knowledge
  Technical problem-solving skills, Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
  Knowledgeable in NFPA 70E (arc flash)
