Welder Fabricator

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator who is proficient in various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, particularly with stainless steel, steel, and aluminum materials. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in fabricating sheet metal parts and assembling tubing frames. The Welder Fabricator will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team, contributing to the production of high-quality products through precision welding and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on stainless steel, steel, and aluminum components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
2. Fabricate sheet metal parts, including cutting, bending, and shaping, to meet project requirements.
3. Assemble tubing frames and structures using welding techniques and fixtures.
4. Inspect welded joints and metalwork to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
5. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition, performing regular inspections and necessary repairs.
6. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
7. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve any design or production issues.
8. Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked, for reporting purposes.
9. Continuously improve welding and fabrication techniques through training and professional development.
10. Assist in other areas of production as needed, including material handling and assembly.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator or similar role, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience.
2. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with a focus on stainless steel, steel, and aluminum materials.
3. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal.
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
5. Experience with assembling tubing frames and structures is highly desirable.
6. Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and safety practices.
7. Excellent attention to detail and precision in welding and fabricating metal components.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
9. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
11. Knowledge of shop equipment is a plus, press break, saws, shears, plasma table programing.

Education and Certification:

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Completion of a welding certification program or apprenticeship is preferred.
3. Additional certifications in welding processes and techniques are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment (up to [X] pounds).
