We are seeking a skilled Weld Engineer to join our team at our facility in Bowling Green, KY. As a Weld Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing welding processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement welding procedures to meet project requirements
- Monitor and evaluate welding processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot welding issues
- Conduct weld inspections and tests to verify compliance with standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Train and mentor welding technicians on best practices and techniques
- Proven experience in welding processes and techniques
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification in welding inspection is a plus
