Overview

SeaDream Yacht Club, a family-owned enterprise renowned for its luxury yacht experiences, seeks a Business Analyst to join our shoreside team. This role is crucial for harnessing data insights to optimize revenue and profitability, ensuring SeaDream continues to deliver unparalleled service and luxury at sea.

Location: Plantation, FL (office-based with occasional travel)

Reports to:  Andreas Brynestad

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced reporting systems to track and analyze key business metrics directly impacting revenue and profitability.
• Create insightful, regular reports for senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Analyze market trends and business operations to identify areas for financial improvement and potential revenue enhancement.
• Work closely with various departments, including marketing and operations, to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Lead initiatives for process improvement and efficiency gains within the revenue management sphere.
• Participate in strategic projects and presentations for the executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Essential Functions

• Conduct detailed, ad-hoc analyses on various business aspects such as demand trends, pricing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare analytical models and forecasts to predict revenue streams and assess the financial impact of proposed changes.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance the quality and accessibility of business data.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI). Knowledge of Python, R, or similar highly desirable.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
