Role Overview:

We seek a detail-oriented, organized, and personable Intern to join our team in New York! The candidate will manage orders, assist our content and social media teams with photoshoots and influencer gifting, and assist our design team with trend forecasting and market research. This role will provide an excellent overview of what it takes to run a small business and he/she/they will assist where help is needed.

Responsibilities:

• This hands-on role will involve all aspects of running our day-to-day business.
• Must be organized and responsible with the ability to collaborate and take direction
• Assist the Account Manager and Fulfillment Team with order management.
• Analyze reporting for wholesale analytics
• Product listing updates on e-commerce platforms (i.e. Faire, Shopify etc.)
• Assist the Sales team with buyer appointments and prep for tradeshows (possible attendance depending on performance)
• Must also be willing to travel to tradeshows (Las Vegas, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, Miami)
• Sample merchandising and organization
• Build and maintain a loyal client base, retaining client loyalty by providing personalized service.
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Assist Social Media Manager with photoshoots, influencer gifting, and brainstorm creative content ideas for brand
• Timely resolutions to customer inquiries and complaints
• Monitors all sale details, including shipping, alterations, and special requests, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensures all sales-related policies and procedures are maintained.
• Maintains a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends.
• Create collection presentations to send to customers and keep them updated with the latest product
• Join the team on competitor shopping to research trends and forecast for upcoming collections
• General office tasks
• Weekend work required for trade show events
• Other duties as required

• You’re someone who loves handbags and accessories!
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Efficient time management and ability to multitask
• Positive and Energized
• Self-motivated with excellent phone and email communication skills.
• Excellent internal communication skills as you will be working as part of a team
• The position is in our Long Island City, NY, office five days a week.
• Preferred to have 2+ years of sales experience.
• Travel for tradeshows (Las Vegas, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, Miami)
• Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds when helping to set up at tradeshows.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Canva.
• Writing and processing purchase orders
• Any additional bilingual proficiency is highly desired but not required.
• Must be a team player
