Job Description

Full Time Safety Specialist - Substation Construction

This position is responsible for the safety of all personnel and equipment involved in the construction of substations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of power delivery, utility construction, and high voltages. They will also have a proven track record of safety compliance in a construction environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety procedures for all substation construction activities.
Inspect worksites for safety hazards and ensure that they are corrected.
Train workers on safety procedures and ensure that they are following them.
Investigate accidents and take steps to prevent them from happening again.
Maintain records of all safety-related activities.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in substation construction.
OSHA 500/510 certifications
Strong understanding of power delivery, utility construction, and high voltages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
