Inside Sales Representative Job Description: 

PrideStaff is partnering with a well-known client who is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for handling client inquiries, creating proposals, and uncovering opportunities. The ideal candidate has a year or more experience in sales experience in the food industry. The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time, direct-hire position in Hayward, CA. 

Inside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities: 

• Handle Prospective Client Inquiries Over The Phone, Email, & Face-To-Face

• Create Proposals, Quotes, Review Contracts

• Contact Clients & Seek New Opportunities To Reach The Monthly Sales Target

• Create Your Sales Target & Expand The Sales

• Participate In Company Research, Marketing, & Sampling Of The Company’s Products

• This Position Requires Domestic Travel For Sales & Shows

• Visit Current & Potential Customers To Provide Support, Information & Sell The Company’s Products

• Coordinate With The Accounting Department To Ensure The Collection Of Payments Promptly

• Maintain High Levels Of Customer Satisfaction By Providing Excellent Service & Building Rapport

• Coordinate Urgent Deliveries With The Customer To Accommodate Their Needs

• Input & Update Orders Within The Company Database Accordingly

Inside Sales Representative Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

• 1+ Years Of Sales Experience in The Food Industry Required

• Class-C Driver’s License Required

• Problem-Solving Ability, Organizational & Negotiation Skills

• Intermediate Knowledge Of MS Office

• Ability to Work Independently & as A Team

• Ability to Adapt to Frequent Changes in Assignments & Workload
